This eight day tour, beginning and ending in London, had a real focus on English and Scottish history. It covered the ancient cities of Stirling, Edinburgh, York and Lincoln as well as charming villages along the way like Marlow in Buckinghamshire, Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire and Buxton in Derbyshire. Travelling along ancient roads, including the old Coaching Route towards the Sussex Downs and the Shap Pass into Scotland, the group journeyed through spectacular scenery including the Cotswolds, Peak District, Lake District, Scottish Lowlands, Northumbria National Park and the Yorkshire Moors.
